He is currently a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, American Association for the Surgery of Trauma, Central Surgical Association, Southeastern Surgical Congress, North Texas Chapter of American College of Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons Academy of Master Surgeon Educators.
