With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Lockhart has built her practice around a simple idea: every patient deserves to feel heard, understood, and confident in their skin. She cares for patients of all ages, treating a wide range of conditions, from everyday concerns like acne, eczema, and rashes to more complex diagnoses including psoriasis and skin cancer. Known for her thoughtful, attentive approach, Dr. Lockhart takes the time to truly connect with her patients, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and involved in their care every step of the way.
Dr. Lockhart earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University before going on to receive her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she graduated with honors in the top 10% of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her internal medicine internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and returned to UTMB for her dermatology residency, where she served as chief resident.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Lockhart’s personal experiences have shaped her compassionate approach to medicine. As a breast cancer survivor, she is a strong advocate for early detection and proudly supports the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She also embraces a healthy, active lifestyle—enjoying hiking, running, yoga, and snow skiing—which reflects her broader commitment to wellness both inside and out.
Dr. Lockhart continues to welcome new patients and remains dedicated to providing personalized, expert dermatologic care to the North Dallas community.
