Dr. Susanne Lockhart of Lockhart Matter Dermatology has been reviewed and approved by TX Top Docs for 2025. Dr. Lockhart, a board-certified dermatologist, has been providing exceptional dermatologic care in North Dallas since 2000. With a genuine passion for treating patients of all ages, Dr. Lockhart evaluates and manages a wide range of conditions from acne, eczema, and psoriasis to birthmarks, moles, rashes, and skin cancers, including melanoma. Her empathetic approach, combined with her diagnostic expertise, has earned her a devoted patient following.
Dr. Lockhart received her B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1991 and went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, graduating with honors in the top 10% of her class and earning membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her internal medicine internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, serving as chief resident before finishing her training in 2000.
A breast cancer survivor, Dr. Lockhart is a passionate advocate for early breast cancer detection and actively supports the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She enjoys staying active and engaged in wellness, participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, running, yoga, and snow skiing, reflecting her dedication to a healthy, vibrant lifestyle.
Dr. Lockhart is currently welcoming new patients and continues to provide compassionate, expert care to the North Dallas community.
