Dr. Kyle Owens Awarded As 2025 TX Top Doc
Kyle Owens, MD has been reviewed and approved by TX Top Docs based on merit for 2025. Dr. Owens is a board-certified dermatologist with a broad clinical focus and a genuine passion for caring for patients with a wide range of skin conditions. He previously practiced in New Orleans and he now brings that experience to his current practice. Dr. Owens enjoys treating all aspects of dermatology, with particular interests in psoriasis, acne, eczema, and the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences from Auburn University, where he was also an NCAA Division I national champion in swimming. Dr. Owens attended medical school at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee graduating summa cum laude and earning induction into Alpha Omega Alpha, the prestigious medical honor society reserved for the top 10 percent of graduating physicians.
Following medical school, Dr. Owens relocated to New Orleans to complete his dermatology residency at Tulane Medical Center. During his training, he demonstrated strong academic leadership and served as chief resident of academics, further strengthening his foundation in evidence-based and patient-centered dermatologic care.
Known for his pragmatic and approachable style, Dr. Owens takes pride in building meaningful relationships with his patients and their families. He is committed to treating every individual with respect, compassion, and dignity, regardless of their circumstances. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Owens enjoys spending weekends with his wife exploring Dallas’s diverse restaurant scene and pursuing his passion for road cycling, often venturing out to discover scenic country roads beyond the city.
