She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine with Honor from Baylor College of Medicine in 2016, where her excellence in the field was recognized with the Outstanding Achievement in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery award.
Dr. Mothersole completed her otolaryngology internship and residency at the renowned UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. During her training, she gained extensive experience treating a wide range of ENT conditions while working at several major institutions, including Parkland Hospital, Children’s Medical Center Dallas, and the Dallas VA Medical Center. This diverse clinical experience allowed her to develop expertise in caring for patients of all ages and with varying levels of complexity.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mothersole has contributed to the advancement of her specialty through research. She has authored multiple journal articles and presented academic posters at national medical meetings, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to staying at the forefront of the field.
Dr. Mothersole remains actively involved in organized medicine and professional leadership. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the Texas Medical Association, and the Travis County Medical Society.
