Originally from Greece, Dr. Drosou earned her medical degree from the University of Athens Medical School in 1997, graduating Summa Cum Laude with multiple awards recognizing her outstanding academic performance. Early in her career, she demonstrated a strong interest in innovation and healing, completing a dedicated research fellowship in Wound Healing before transitioning to the United States for advanced clinical training. Dr. Drosou completed her internship and dermatology residency at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine, one of the top dermatology programs in the country. Driven to further refine her expertise, Dr. Drosou pursued an additional year of subspecialty training through a rigorous Procedural Dermatology Fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Leonard Goldberg at DermSurgery Associates and Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Before relocating to Texas, Dr. Drosou practiced dermatology in Florida for several years, where she also served as a clinical instructor at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology, mentoring residents and medical students.
Dr. Drosou is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS), a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (ABD)—credentials that reflect her deep commitment to continued learning and excellence in patient care.
Currently, she is proud to be serving the communities of Pearland and El Campo, where she offers comprehensive dermatologic care, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is experienced in treating patients of all ages and skin types, with a particular interest in the early detection and treatment of skin cancer, including Mohs micrographic surgery and post-surgical reconstruction.
