A proud seventh-generation Texan, Dr. Miller grew up in East Texas and has remained deeply connected to the communities he serves. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston before completing a General Surgery internship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He later returned to Texas to complete his General Surgery residency at The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, followed by advanced fellowship training in Colon & Rectal Surgery at The University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston.
Today, Dr. Miller performs procedures at several leading medical centers throughout the Austin area, including Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin, Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas Hospital, St. David’s Medical Center, and multiple regional surgery centers and hospitals, allowing him to provide specialized care to patients across Central Texas.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his family, often “chasing” his children, and is an avid Formula 1 racing enthusiast, following the sport throughout the year.
