About Amna Salhin, M.D.

Dr. Amna Salhin is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, specializing in Diabetes and Endocrine diseases. She has more than 18 years of experience in the field of Endocrinology/Diabetes. After receiving her Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery from Tripoli University, Libya in 1989, she did both her Residency in Internal Medicine at Marshall University Affiliated Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia July 1993 – June 1996. She completed her Fellowship in Endocrinology also at Marshall University Affiliated Hospitals in 1998.
Dr. Salhin joined the Diabetes & Glandular Disease Clinic in San Antonio, Texas in December 1998. She is highly regarded by her patients and by her peers. She is a fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and an active member of several esteemed professional groups, including The American Diabetes Association, The Endocrine Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the Bexar County Medical Society.
